Our oil production
The extra virgin olive oil produced at Masseria Cappuccini is made in compliance with the Organic Agriculture Regulations and obtained exclusively from olives harvested in the company's olive groves, from the Leccino and Olivastro cultivars.
Extra virgin olive oil is a fundamental food in the Mediterranean diet and is rich in characteristics that make it a unique and quality food product. Today it is considered a food for all purposes both by nutritionists and operators in the food and catering sectors.
From the nutritional point of view, extra virgin olive oil contains triglycerides, ie lipids, for more than 98% and for the remaining part very important chemical substances, such as liposoluble vitamins, beta-carotene and phenols, which are the nutritional components of the oil. Extra virgin olive oil is rich in vitamin E, useful to make our immune system even stronger and, by contrasting free radicals, it protects us from cellular aging.

The centuries-old olive trees of Masseria Cappuccini are part of the production area of the DOP Collina di Brindisi olive oil included in the municipalities of Ostuni, Fasano, Carovigno, San Vito dei Normanni, Cisternino, Ceglie Messapica, San Michele Salentino and Villa Castelli and therefore, a mark of quality and guarantee for the consumer. Our oil is of excellent quality, it is particularly sweet even when freshly squeezed and with a balanced aroma. It has a fruity and delicate taste, with a slight spicy and bitter perception that makes it ideal to accompany any dish, from meat to fish dishes, to vegetables.
